Start with the candidate's actual stage
An employer cannot purchase a place at AOSB or an advantage with Army assessors. The first question is whether the individual is exploring a commission, attending Briefing or working towards Main Board. Official recruitment instructions remain the authority, and the candidate's own consent and goals must lead the discussion.
What independent support could add
A responsibly scoped package might include civilian interview reflection, structured personal-development feedback, planning practice and time for current-affairs discussion. None of these requires secret assessment content. Support should complement the Army's existing free guidance, which already contains preparation and practice activities.
Protect the employee's autonomy
A sponsorship arrangement should not require disclosure of confidential interview answers, health information or Army feedback to an employer. Agree whether reporting will cover attendance, participation or self-defined development goals. Selection outcomes belong to the Army and the candidate; they are not a commercial performance guarantee.
A meaningful specification
Before inviting a proposal, identify the number of people, time horizon, approved budget and precise support being sought. Ask what experience and insurance a provider can document. The arrangement should make room for the candidate's other obligations rather than assuming that more sessions automatically produce better preparation.
What is available today
This independent site publishes free preparation guides and tools. Any sponsored one-to-one or cohort offering remains a concept until the delivery team, contract, pricing, privacy and suitable qualifications have been confirmed.
A sensible pilot brief
Write a sponsor brief containing the candidate's stage, voluntary participation, maximum information shared with the employer, budget band and a measurable non-selection learning goal.
