Officer Selection Academy is a draft preparation resource in the Project Selection network. We are not endorsed by the Ministry of Defence, British Army or Royal Navy. Regimental terms are used descriptively, not as official trade marks or claims of affiliation.

No guarantees or insider access

We do not sell places on selection courses, privileged military information or guaranteed outcomes. If you are checking current eligibility or a test standard, use the official reference linked from our guide and your recruitment staff.

How our research is assembled

We start with publicly available primary documents published by the British Army, Royal Navy and other responsible authorities. Each route claim links to its source; the source crosswalk distinguishes direct source statements from our interpretation and the reader's proposed next action. Where official pages appear to disagree, we record both rather than invent a resolution.

Our original planning exercises are fictional civilian learning examples. They do not reproduce protected selection content, carry official endorsement, or provide medical or fitness clearance. Any review date is a documented editorial snapshot rather than a promise that an external site is monitored in real time.

Corrections and changing requirements

Source pages, recruiting pathways and fitness standards may change without notice. Candidates should follow their individual invitation, joining instructions and recruitment chain. If you find a conflicting claim, email [email protected] with the specific page and official source so it can be reviewed. Source-monitoring alerts inform editorial review but do not automatically rewrite our published advice.

Editorial scope and conflicts of interest

Independent coaching and future organisational services may eventually be commercial offerings. That commercial possibility does not change the official authority over recruitment or eligibility. We do not claim that buying coaching improves selection odds or that our research is a substitute for the Armed Forces. Named instructor experience, insurance, contracts and photographs remain subject to verification before public commercial release.

Current data handling

The free tool works within your browser. No fitness assessments, notes or checklist answers are transmitted from it. The optional contact flow currently prepares a user-sent email; an online secure submission will only appear after separately verified consent, anti-spam and delivery configuration. The email contact link launches your email programme; messages are processed by the sender's email service and the recipient mailbox.

Commercial and legal status

This site is currently staging-only. We do not accept online payments or account registrations. The legal operator, formal privacy notice, retention terms, insurance and service contracts must be approved before any commercial release.
